I feel like there's something in this picture than what I'm interpreting, or maybe I over think alot of art when I look at them. Like a metaphor or an underlying meaning behind everything.

The focus is really on the dress, because I see alot of detail in the design and composition of the piece itself. I probably would have added alittle more to the background to the piece itself.

But It could be intentional, because it lets my "eye" wander in the picture more and more curious about the piece itself. But the whole composition makes it more believable. And Possible to go to a place like this and really know the location.

As for the character herself, I really like her design. I'm not sure if she's a real witch, but she sure looks like what a witch would look like in our time, or era. Overall I think this piece is really sells itself well.

There isn't not alot of detail, doesn't really need it when you're trying to convey something that isn't a story, and more about a feeling or mood.

Which is why I really gravitate to pieces like this. More emphasis on style, believable colors, with a story or mood of its own that doesn't need alot of knowledge to get the feel for the piece itself.
